Lake Mohave is the re-regulating reservoir between Hoover and Davis dams. Its level can respond quickly when the timing of Hoover inflow differs from releases through Davis Dam.
Reclamation lists 647 feet as Lake Mohave's top of active conservation pool and maximum water-surface elevation. That is an operating reference, not a daily target.
